Description

Tarot-8 Justice, meaning: Balance, harmony, equilibrium, assuming responsibility, weighing all sides of an issue before making a decision, choosing with full awareness. Usually the figure has a set of scales and a sword, she stands for cool reason and logic, restoring balance to the natural order. Justice also means facing the consequences, all actions have consequences which can't and shouldn't be evaded. I made this card as a reminder to myself that in order to deal with things I have to face them, that's why I gave her my caduceus to hold, for me it signifies the four elements balanced by the fifth which is spirit, as a symbol of Hermes it represents the equilibrium of opposing factors, qualities, or tendencies. I always wear it and I gave her fire and water to hold, she is standing firmly on the ground-earth but she is backed by the cosmos-air hence she is balancing the elements too. I put in the cycle of the moon to convey the natural cycle of the world. Really the fire and water belong to the temperance card which this nearly became but I felt it suited Justice more, as to me it represents our mental state as well as natural law.
