I LOVE FANTASY SCENES!!!! And I especially love what you have done with the red sorceress stock image <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
I find the light effect that creates a sort of "halo" around your sorceress quite effective - especially the red and green tones in the light. Surprisingly, it was the first thing I noticed when I saw your deviation.
I like to fiddle around with Photoshop, too, but it's been a while since I have done that...
The only thing that I think can be done better is the archway - you used a pale white "mist" there, and although it creates a strong contrast between the head and the background (therefore, making it stand out more), the difference in colour tones is a bit too strong, and it might have worked better if the effect was a bit more faded or if the colour saturation change weren't so dramatic.
